Defending Sarah Palin and The Tea Party - The 2012 Election Season Begins
by Scott Rohter, January 2011

Way back in 2006, when no one else was even thinking about the upcoming Presidential election of 2008, the Democratic Party “movers and shakers” were already campaigning to recapture the White House and the Congress from whatever was left of the Republican party after 8 very discouraging years of George W. Bush. Two years before those elections had even begun, the “liberal mass media machine” both electronic and print media divisions, as well as the "Democratic Party bosses” were already wound up tighter than a spring and ready to uncoil at a moments notice to put their “Manchurian Candidate”, Barack Obama into the oval office.

All of the money of the old guard East Coast “Establishment” Foundations and Trusts and the Endowments set up in the early part of the 20th century and the latter part of the 19th century by the Rockefellers, the Carnegies, the Morgans and the rest of the “Old Establishment Families" to protect their business and financial interests was set into motion to make sure that whatever happened in the national elections of 2008, was actually what they wanted to happen.

In the 1920s and 1930s these powerful and very influential families calculated how many of the nation’s newspapers they actually needed to own in order to control public opinion in the United States. Then they proceeded to buy just as many newspapers as they needed to accomplish their goal! When television came on the scene a few years later, they recognized the value of controlling that broadcast medium as well. It wasn’t very long before they owned or dominated all of the major TV networks. Today liberals still control ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN and PBS. The exact same thing is occurring now with the internet. It didn’t take very long before liberal, progressive corporate America discovered the value of the internet and began to control it too! Time Warner purchased America On Line (AOL) back on January 10, 2000 and that was the beginning of the end of the independent internet. Now you have big corporate giants battling other big corporate giants for more and more control of the internet and it is being influenced and controlled by fewer and fewer big players (ATT, Comcast, Google, Yahoo, FaceBook).

The only area of mass communication that has eluded their control is AM Talk Radio, but it’s not for lack of trying. They deftly control content and message on National Public Radio (NPR) through their very generous grants and endowments, the same way that they very tactfully guide the curriculum of many of our major colleges and universities. They also provide the funding for teaching fellowships and departmental chairs, which they call philanthropy. But you can bet your bottom dollar that it is a tax write off that serves to feather their own nests. Today most colleges and universities, newspapers, television networks, the Hollywood movie industry, and the music and entertainment business are all tightly controlled by a very small group of “like-minded liberals” except for a few notable exceptions: Hillsdale College, The Wall Street Journal, the Christian Broadcast Network (CBN) and FOX News Corp. Radio is the single medium of mass communication that is the lone exception to the rule, and this is where many conservatives get their news.

Guess what? It’s about 2 years before the next Presidential election again and the campaign for 2012 has just begun with a bang, actually a series of bangs. It has just been started by the “Liberal mass media machine” with all of the totally inaccurate and misleading news commentaries and blatantly partisan reporting of the Arizona mass murders by all of the usual mainstream media outlets. They are blaming the shootings on Sarah Palin, The Tea Party and Conservative Talk Radio. In the words of the “Machiavellian” chief strategist of the Obama Administration, Rahm Emmanuel, “Don’t let a good crisis go to waste”. Exactly what this means is that the first part of their strategy to take out Sarah Palin and to discredit The Tea Party is already underway! Next they will try to diminish the influence of Conservative Talk Radio by implementing the Fairness Doctrine (what a great piece of marketing that is!) If they can’t do that legislatively, they will attempt to do it administratively through the Federal Communication Commission (FCC).

The greatest threat to their chances for success in 2012 and the greatest obstacle to their regaining complete and absolute power in Washington once again is The Tea Party! For better or for worse, there is no more significant representative of The Tea Party right now than Sarah Palin, like it or not! That is partly because the media has made her into a superstar, which in itself is dangerous, because they also know her Achilles Heal and they will strike at it as soon as she becomes a real threat to “The Establishment”. Right now whether we like her or not, or whether or not we think she will make a good Presidential candidate in 2012, we have to come to her defense because she represents more than anyone else does in America, The Tea Party! And she has absolutely nothing at all to do with the shootings in Arizona!
