Is Donald Trump really the President ?

By Scott Michael Rohter, September 2017

Americans elected Donald Trump to be President, but who is really running our country?  It sure isn’t Trump… and it’s obvious that it isn’t the American people who voted for him. A majority of voters in a majority of States elected Donald Trump to be the 45th President of the United States. He won the votes in over 98% of the counties in America.. That is why he sits behind the Lincoln Desk in the Oval Office and not Hillary Clinton. It wasn’t  merely by winning a plurality of votes in New York City and “Lost Angeles” like she did which is why she is not the President of the United States. A landslide victory in two or three cities is not enough to sit behind that desk, and it doesn’t matter how many disgruntled liberalsr try to convince you otherwise.

The President of the United States is the President of all the States in America, not just two or three of them. This may come as a shock to some who try to tell you that all you really have to do is win the popular vote. The President of the United States is the President of all the States in spite of all the illegal aliens without proper documentation or proof of citizenship who voted in the last Presidential election  who claim that Donald Trump isn’t “their” President… They really don’t have anything to say about it. They don’t even belong in our country so who cares what they think?

Donald Trump is the President of the United States no matter how many dead Democrats appeared to rise from the grave on election day in Chicago, walk right into a voting booth and pull the lever for Hillary Clinton. Donald Trump is still our President no matter how many Harvard, Princeton, or Yale  graduates refused to vote for him. To be President you have to win a majority of votes in a majority of States. That’s what counts. It does not matter how loud the disgruntled protesters are in the streets. It does not matter how many effigies they burn of him or how much private property they destroy in the process… On the other hand just because Donald Trump sits in the Oval Office that does not mean that will be allowed to exercise all the duties and obligations of his high office. The real people who exercise power behind the scenes, who actually run our country have decided not to allow him to do his job. Average Americans voted for Donald Trump, but average Americans have nothing to say about whether he will actually be allowed to govern or not.

Donald Trump had a plan to prevent terrorists from coming to America from countries that are classified by the State Department as havens for terrorism. It was blocked by the Courts.  When the United States Supreme Court overruled a lower Federal Court decision other liberal attorneys in Hawaii and Washington immediately filed suit once again to blocked its implementation…  This went on for months. Who ever heard of a Federal District Court blocking a unanimous decision of the United States Supreme Court?

Donald Trump still has a plan to prevent illegal aliens from crossing our southern border.  It hasn’t been implemented yet. He wants to build a wall, but Congress won’t give him the money to build it so it hasn’t been built yet.

Donald Trump wants to repeal and replace ObamaCare… Has it been repealed or replaced?… Though Congressional Republicans voted many times to repeal ObamaCare during the eight years that  Barack Obama was President, they have not voted even once successfully to repeal it now that Donald Trump is in the White House. The only thing they did was get rid of the individual mandate which required everybody to buy a health insurance policy or pay a penalty.

Donald Trump wants to prohibit so called “transgender people” from serving in the military. To serve in the armed forces you have to be mentally as well as physically fit. A man who thinks he is a woman is obviously not mentally fit so he should not be allowed to serve. This isn’t rocket science.  It’s just basic common sense. Has the President been able to implement this ban?  General Mattis, his Secretary of Defense has refused to enforce the policy and that remains the case today.

I am beginning to wonder if Donald Trump is really our President? He tweets that we are done negotiating with North Korea over their provocative nuclear weapons testing. Meanwhile his Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson assures the whole world that we stand ready to negotiate with the little dictator in North Korea… So who really is in charge in Washington?… It doesn’t look like Donald Trump. Is he really our President, or is he really just the President in name only?
