Has God Forsaken the United States of America?

The United States Supreme Court made gay marriage legal in all fifty states. It is now the law of the land, but that doesn’t make it right in God’s eyes. The United States government can only make something legal in the eyes of the law. They cannot make it right. Gay marriage will never be right in God’s eyes nor in the eyes of millions of God fearing Americans. The United States has obviously lost its way. More and more of our fellow Americans are turning their back on God in return for a life of sin. Is that why God is turning his back on the United States of America?
As our nation’s political leaders keep taking our country deeper and deeper down into the gutter, and while many of our friends and neighbors are rejoicing in their freedom to commit sin and literally getting away with murder, God is judging our country. He is judging it as he has never done so before in our Nation’s history. Americans may be able to murder their little unborn babies in the eyes of the law, but not in the eyes of their God. The only question is: How long do we have until God acts?
Sexual pioneer or Maladjusted deviant?
More and more Americans are defiling their bodies with drugs, premarital sex, adultery, pornography, homosexuality, and a myriad of other abominable acts. Gender identity surgery is the mistaken notion that a doctor can turn a mixed up man into a perfectly normal woman with a little plastic surgery and some prescription drugs. Of course that is never going to happen. It is impossible. There is no way on earth that a man can become a woman.
A man can never produce an egg so he can never be a woman. He will always have that one little”Y” chromosome in his genes which determines his masculine identity from the inside no matter what he does to his body on the outside. As Sarah Palin once put it…. “You can put lipstick on a pig, but its still a pig.” A woman has two “X” chromosomes. That is what distinguishes a man from a woman.
A man’s sexual identity is not determined by a doctor in a plastic surgeon’s office. That is why Bruce Jenner will always be a man no matter what he calls himself or his doctors do to try to make him look more like he isn’t, and he should always use the man’s restroom no matter what the State of North Carolina says.
The problem with Bruce Jenner is not between his legs. It is between his ears. His problems are all in his head. It was too bad that he couldn’t figure that out before he let the doctors take the knife to his body. It would have saved him a lot of time and money. His sexual identity was determined almost from the moment that he was conceived in his mother’s womb. It’s just a pity that he doesn’t know that, and now the media are extoling him as some kind of a sexual pioneer. They are trying to turn him into some kind of a cultural hero when it reality he is just a very mixed up man, and the media is even sicker than he is…
At the moment God is judging the United States of America. He is weighing us in the balance and we are falling far short of his expectations for us…. We are lacking both in wisdom and in our love for God, however judging us is one thing. Forsaking us is quite another thing. So I asked myself a question. Has God forsaken the United States of America?
Let’s examine some of America’s most recent foreign policy endeavors and consider their disastrous results in the world. When was the last time that the United States actually had a major foreign policy success? It certainly wasn’t in Libya where the Obama Administration supported the rebels who overthrew the government of Muammar Gaddafy. We bombed Libya and ousted its leader in a misguided effort at nation building. Where is evidence of the democracy we hoped to create and where is Libya actually today? It has become a haven for terrorists. It is even worse off today than it was under Colonel Gaddafy.
We didn’t have success in Egypt either where the Obama Administration supported the Muslim Brotherhood in its attempt to takeover the country. Within one year Egyptians were so angry at Mohammed Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood that they supported a military coup which drove him from power. Now the new government of Egypt is no longer a trusted ally or friend of the United States. They re-aligned themselves with Russia. How can you actually blame them for turning to Russia after what we did to their country? The most unfortunate thing about this is that we have lost most of our influence over Egypt and so we can no longer be a trusted broker for peace between the Israelis and the Arabs.
We clearly haven’t had much success in our effort to build a new nation in Iraq after we launched a full scale military invasion of that country without provocation and drove Saddam Hussein from power. Iraq would actually be a much better place today and a much safer place if Saddam Hussein was still in power, plus there wouldn’t be any ISIS. The Middle East would actually be a more peaceful place if Saddam Hussein was still alive..
We are not completely defeating al Qaeda or the Taliban either after our decade long military presence in Afghanistan. The outcome is still uncertain at best. Everywhere you look you can see that God is not blessing our efforts to impose an American order on the rest of the world. That is a pretty good indication that God is not with us. The same thing is true in Europe where the United States is trying to impose our solution on the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in the Donbas. We will not be successful in our efforts to solve the crises there either. It is not just because our efforts are ill-advised, poorly planned, and improperly executed. It is because God is not with us in anything we do. The reason that God is not blessing us is because more and more Americans are rejecting God. Whether God has rejected us permanently is a much harder question to answer. I don’t know the answer to that one.
This week in Washington the United States Supreme Court handed down two very un-supreme like decisions. One ruling was on Obama Care which is now starting to look more and more like Chief Justice John Robert’s Care. This decision has only further institutionalized the unconstitutional abuse of power seized by the Federal Government.
The other very un-supreme like decision which was handed down this week by the Supreme Court concerned gay marriage. Nine justices decided by a six to three margin to legalize gay marriage in all fifty states. Every step of the way in legalizing this abomination to God it has always been imposed on the country by legislative action or by a decision handed down by the courts. Each time that the people have actually been allowed to vote on this issue it has always gone down to defeat, but now it has become the law of the land without our consent in all fifty states. Nevertheless homosexuality is still a sin in God’s eyes, and gay marriage is still wrong no matter what the Supreme Court says. There is no place for gay marriage on God’s green earth. The Supreme Court can only make it legal in the United States and only in the eyes of the law. They cannot make it right in God’s eyes. As the United States continues to remove itself farther and farther from God’s world don’t be surprised if God continues to remove his blessings from the United States. The justices on the Supreme Court are not powerful enough to change reality.
