This week Donald Trump warned the RNC about the consequences of ignoring the will of millions of Republican voters. After thirty Republican Primaries and\u00a0two State Caucuses\u00a0Donald Trump is the clear leader in this race, both in terms of actual delegates and in terms of\u00a0the popular votes. Mr. Trump has won nineteen States while Ted Cruz has\u00a0only won seven. John Kasich has\u00a0just won\u00a0his\u00a0own State of Ohio. In terms of the actual delegates Donald Trump has\u00a0won 743\u00a0and Ted Cruz’s has won 545\u00a0 while\u00a0John Kasich\u00a0has only won 143. The fact is that Donald Trump is the clear leader in the race for the Republican nomination for President. He has won as many delegates as all of the other Republican candidates combined, and unless something completely unexpected happens between now and July, Donald Trump should be the\u00a0Republican Party’s\u00a0nominee for President in 2016. How can the Republican Party wind up with any one else as their nominee ? Oh, but trust me, they can…<\/p>\n

In the event that Donald Trump arrives in Cleveland with less than 1237 delegates, anything can\u00a0and probably will happen. The power brokers\u00a0are\u00a0likely to nominate Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio or John Kasich,\u00a0 or they might even turn to Mitt Romney or Paul Ryan neither of whom\u00a0were even in the race. They could do a\u00a0number of different things\u00a0rather than nominate Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

In a private\u00a0meeting this week at a posh island resort just off the coast of Georgia,\u00a0many of America’s most influential\u00a0political movers and shakers have gathered to discuss how to thwart Donald Trump’s Presidential aspirations.\u00a0 This exclusive, by invitation only meeting was hosted by the American Enterprise Institute, a so called Republican think tank, but some of what they are thinking is not good for America. In attendance at this meeting\u00a0along with many wealthy Republican donors were\u00a0some very prominent progressive Democrats.\u00a0 Apple CEO Tim Cook was there. The co-founder of Google, Larry Page was there.\u00a0Elon Musk, the founder of PayPal and the\u00a0CEO of Space-X was there. Republican strategist Karl Rove, Senator Mitch McConnell, Speaker Paul Ryan were also there along with tabloid newspaper publisher and billionaire oil man\/real estate\u00a0investor\u00a0Phillip Anschutz who\u00a0owns the island where the conference is being held.\u00a0\u00a0Progressive Republicans joined\u00a0with\u00a0well known liberal Democrats\u00a0including New York Times publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr. to\u00a0discuss how\u00a0they\u00a0 can prevent Donald Trump from becoming the\u00a0next President of the United States.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When you are rich like these people\u00a0it really doesn’t matter which political Party you belong to.\u00a0 There is a fraternity of wealth. Money makes for strange bedfellows and all the people who attended this conference agreed to do whatever they could to deny Donald Trump the Republican nomination.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This\u00a0is not\u00a0a right wing conspiracy like the\u00a0one\u00a0invented in her own mind by\u00a0Hillary Clinton to blame for working against her husband in 1992. This is a real\u00a0bipartisan\u00a0 conspiracy\u00a0created to\u00a0prevent\u00a0a\u00a0real political outsider from\u00a0ever becoming the President of the United States.\u00a0It’s\u00a0real, and it\u00a0is\u00a0organized by members of the\u00a0real political establishment\u00a0in both political Parties to\u00a0prevent power from ever falling into the hands of someone who is not\u00a0under their control. It is intended to thwart the will of millions of\u00a0Americans who voted for Donald Trump. It is an full blown insurgency whose declared purpose is to keep a reformer\u00a0from entering the White House in 2016.\u00a0We know who is leading this coup. They are the one percenters who make up the political ruling class of America. This is\u00a0the Establishment\u00a0that\u00a0an overwhelming majority of rank and file Republicans\u00a0have rejected.<\/p>\n

If there weren’t enough\u00a0private jets to fly in all of the rich and powerful people who wanted to attend this prestigious conference then\u00a0more were chartered. Some of the most influential Republican\u00a0and Democrat donors in the country were there at the\u00a0posoh island resort owned by Phillip Anschutz. They are\u00a0all members of America’s\u00a0elite that comprise both political Parties.\u00a0 There were lessor known\u00a0dignitaries who\u00a0could not attend, but who took part in the meeting by telephone.\u00a0 They can be counted on\u00a0to do their\u00a0best\u00a0to undermine\u00a0the Presidential\u00a0aspirations of Donald Trump and his future administration if he somehow manages to succeed in becoming President…. newspaper publishers, radio talk show hosts,\u00a0media executives as well as the CEO’s of the nations major news networks<\/p>\n

Mr.\u00a0Trump has been receiving death threats while on the campaign trail. He has to wear a bullet proof vest now every time he goes to one of his events. His children have also been the subject of death threats.\u00a0 This is\u00a0what\u00a0angry liberals\u00a0do whenever someone or something upsets their apple cart or\u00a0threatens to\u00a0challenge their world view. They\u00a0attack whoever opposes them. In 1969 they disrupted the Democrat National Convention in Chicago. They exhibited\u00a0deplorable behavior during the\u00a0Occupy Wall Street Movement, and now these liberal thugs and malcontents\u00a0are\u00a0 threatening Donald Trump and his family.\u00a0\u00a0This is exactly what happened to the last political outsider to threaten the Establishment. That was Ross Perot. When he ran for President they threatened his family and we never heard from the man again. Donald Trump is a brave man to put up with all of this, but it is\u00a0surprising\u00a0to me is that the Republican Establishment is\u00a0just as bad as the Democrat Establishment when it comes to not supporting him.<\/p>\n

We are told that if he wins the Republican nomination\u00a0that about 20% of Republican delegates\u00a0at the Convention will not vote\u00a0for him.. These are the RINOs who have\u00a0been in the Republican Party\u00a0 since the days of Teddy Roosevelt. The George W. Bushes,\u00a0 the John McCains and the Mitt Romneys of the world who\u00a0 have been running the GOP since that time. They would rather vote for Hillary Clinton than vote for an outsider.. If Donald Trump arrives in Cleveland with the most delegates, and he is\u00a0not the nominee of the Republican Party then they better worry about the\u00a040% of Republicans who voted for him who will walk out of the Convention and leave the\u00a0Party\u00a0entirely if their votes are not counted. They won\u2019t vote for some nominee selected by the Establishment at a brokered Convention.<\/p>\n
