<\/a><\/h1>\nProgressive Republican Establishment Indicts House Freedom Caucus instead of Hillary Rodham Clinton\u00a0<\/h1>\n

<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Now instead of indicting Hillary Clinton on a number of possible different charges including her role in the deaths of four Americans at Benghazi,\u00a0her misuse of a private email server to\u00a0store official government emails,\u00a0and all of the shady financial dealings of the Clinton Foundation\u2026 instead of\u00a0indicting Hillary Clinton… the Progressive Republican Establishment has decided to go after the only\u00a0real conservatives left in the House of Representatives. These are the members of the House Republican Freedom Caucus, and the GOP Establishment is pulling out all of the\u00a0punches in order to disgrace and discredit them.<\/p>\n I think we owe a huge debt of gratitude to the determined members of the House Republican Freedom Caucus <\/a>who\u00a0still have\u00a0conservative principles and who still know how to fight for\u00a0those principles.\u00a0 Up until now they\u00a0have been\u00a0using fire to fight fire… the same type of fire that the Speaker of the House and the Majority Leader routinely use to commandeer the votes they need to pass President Obama\u2019s\u00a0legislative agenda and to punish\u00a0members of Congress who don\u2019t vote the way\u00a0they are expected to vote.<\/p>\n The Freedom Caucus\u00a0forced\u00a0John Boehner to resign as Speaker of the House. They\u00a0were instrumental in getting\u00a0Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy to bow out of the race when most\u00a0observers\u00a0thought\u00a0he was a shoe in for the job. Now the Freedom Caucus has to decide who to endorse, and who they are going to vote for as individuals, and they have to decide whether or not they are going to\u00a0cave in to Paul Ryan’s demands to eliminate the Vacate the Chair Rule<\/em>… Have we come this far only to fall\u00a0just short?<\/p>\n We don’t need Paul Ryan\u00a0to be the next Speaker of the House. He has a horrible position on illegal immigration and he supports a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens. The person who\u00a0eventually\u00a0becomes\u00a0the next Speaker doesn’t need to be acceptable to Harry Reid\u00a0or Louis Gutierrez either. We need the right man for this job. We need the right Speaker of the House. This is not the time to compromise or to listen to the frantic appeals of liberal Republicans for unity. The success of failure of the next administration begins right now with the right Speaker of the House.\u00a0Paul Ryan is not that man. A headless House of Representatives\u00a0would be\u00a0better than a House of Representatives with the wrong head. We also need to\u00a0retain the “Vacate the Chair Rule”<\/em> which is what allowed\u00a0the conservative members of the House\u00a0of Representatives to remove John Boehner in the first place.\u00a0<\/p>\n Mr. Batchelor\u00a0complained\u00a0that\u00a0the rules\u00a0set up by\u00a0the House Republican Freedom Caucus are bizarre. Well, just for your information the rules of the House Freedom Caucus are no more bizarre than the rules for the rest of the House of Representatives, or the filibuster\u00a0and cloture rules of the United States Senate,\u2026 or for that matter the rules changes that the Republican National Committee\u00a0voted on and passed at the last Republican National Convention while they put the entire Virginia delegation led by Morton Blackwell on a chartered bus and drove them around in circles all around the city\u00a0as they voted. Time and chance happens to\u00a0us all… even to\u00a0Rockefellers,\u00a0but after Nelson\u00a0Rockefeller’s\u00a0death we have come to refer to liberal Republicans like him\u00a0as the Progressive Republican Establishment or just plain RINOs for short. They are the ruling elite of the GOP.\u00a0Republicans in Name Only\u00a0is a phrase that they richly deserve\u2026 just as richly as Nelson Rockefeller did.\u00a0\u00a0There was nothing conservative about\u00a0Nelson Rockefeller and there is nothing conservative\u00a0at all about any\u00a0of the\u00a0RINO\u00a0Republicans that follow in his footsteps today.\u00a0Progressives have been ruling the Republican Party with a few notable exceptions ever since the days of\u00a0Nelson Rockefeller’s\u00a0grandfather John D. Rockefeller, the man who created Standard Oil.\u00a0The progressive Republican Establishment was just as opposed to Ronald Reagan\u00a0when he\u00a0ran for the\u00a0Presidency in 1976 and\u00a01980\u00a0as they are opposed to\u00a0the Tea Party Movement today which testifies to the\u00a0enduring influence of progressives\u00a0in Republican Party politics..<\/p>\n<\/a>John Boehner is a member of the Progressive Republican Establishment and for the past five years he has been the do nothing Speaker of the House of Representatives who has both accommodated and facilitated just about every aspect of President Obama’s progressive\u00a0legislative agenda.\u00a0He\u00a0recently resigned his position as the Speaker of the House\u00a0because he didn\u2019t have the support of the members of the House Republican Freedom Caucus.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>John Boehner\u2019s heir apparent and the next in line for the Speaker\u2019s job was Kevin McCarthy who is\u00a0currently the House Majority Leader. Everybody just assumed that he was going to be\u00a0the next\u00a0Speaker,\u00a0but he quickly resigned from the\u00a0running because he also didn\u2019t have the support of the members of the House Freedom Caucus, and it\u2019s no wonder. Last week Kevin McCarthy publically went on the record\u00a0criticizing the Benghazi hearings. He suggested that the hearings\u00a0were politically motivated and that they should come to an end. What do you expect from a member of the Progressive Republican Establishment?\u00a0\u00a0Perhaps Mr. Boehner and Mr. McCarthy would\u00a0both like to\u00a0support Hillary Clinton for President too.<\/p>\n<\/a>
Many members of the mainstream media who work for the Progressive\u00a0Establishment like John Batchelor of the John Batchelor Show which is aired on WABC out of New York City, and Mary Kissel of the Wall Street Journal\u2019s editorial board, as well as\u00a0certain members of Congress like the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee David Nunez and the Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee Paul Ryan are singling out members of the House Republican Freedom Caucus for undeserved contempt and scorn and possible retribution. I have heard John Batchelor routinely speak more kindly of Barack Obama than the conservative members of the House Republican Freedom Caucus. He refers to this group of\u00a0conservatives as a cult, a sort of blood brotherhood, and a secretive group of obstructionists who don\u2019t\u00a0seem to know what they were sent to Washington\u00a0to do, as if their constituents actually elected them to surrender to liberal Democrats and Democrat collaborators like John Boehner.<\/p>\n
