Yesterday I was having a discussion with a couple of\u00a0liberals I\u00a0just met. One man was older than me\u00a0and the other\u00a0was\u00a0young enough to be my son. They both had similar views and\u00a0it didn’t\u00a0take too long to find out exactly what they were. It also didn’t take too long to remember why it is\u00a0always such a painful experience\u00a0to try\u00a0to have a rational conversation with a liberal.\u00a0Here is why…<\/p>\n
To a liberal tolerance is the supreme\u00a0virtue. In fact it is just about the only virtue. It is more important\u00a0than\u00a0wisdom or discretion.\u00a0Tolerance of deviant behavior such as sodomy and homosexuality is right at the top of\u00a0their list along with\u00a0adultery and extra marital sex.\u00a0The\u00a0same thing is true for libertarians and progressives in the\u00a0Republican Party. They are tolerant of alcoholics, pot heads, and\u00a0anybody who engages in just about any\u00a0kind of\u00a0anti-social or criminal behavior\u00a0just as long as it doesn\u2019t physically hurt\u00a0someone else. About the only thing that a liberal\u00a0can’t tolerate\u00a0is\u00a0Christianity, the death penalty… and an unborn\u00a0child’s right to life. The last two examples illustrate precisely\u00a0how irrational and inconsistent a liberal can be.<\/p>\n
Liberals\u00a0are strongly opposed to the death penalty even in the most extreme cases of aggravated murder. Yet they support a woman\u2019s right to kill\u00a0her unborn baby\u00a0right up to the actual moment of\u00a0birth. That’s what abortion clinics\u00a0do. They\u00a0induce partial delivery. Then they abort that delivery \u00a0in order to routinely kill the baby before it is born so they can harvest\u00a0its body parts or they\u00a0kill\u00a0the fetus as if it wasn’t a living human being and then they vacuum\u00a0up the remains of\u00a0this\u00a0perfectly innocent life while it\u00a0is still inside of\u00a0its mother’s body. This premeditated act of murder is what liberals\u00a0like to call women\u2019s reproductive health rights. I prefer to call it what it\u00a0is… homicide.<\/p>\n
What can\u00a0we do\u00a0about\u00a0Godless\u00a0liberals\u00a0who refuse to protect\u00a0the most vulnerable members of our society…\u00a0 yet they\u00a0work\u00a0hard to save the lives of\u00a0murderers and aggravated murderers\u00a0on death row?\u00a0Most of these\u00a0liberals\u00a0are not\u00a0new immigrants to America. They are not here on student visas so we can\u2019t\u00a0ship them back to their countries of origin. They are third and fourth generation Americans\u00a0and they have\u00a0as much right to\u00a0live here as those who value human life do. There are also millions of\u00a0people\u00a0all across America who believe that\u00a0a woman has the right to decide whether\u00a0her child\u00a0lives or dies.<\/p>\n
Virtue without discretion is like vision without the ability to focus\u00a0or see color. One of the liberals I was talking\u00a0with said that he would prefer to live in a socialist country. When I pointed out\u00a0that socialism is a government monopoly and that\u00a0in socialist societies freedom\u00a0of\u00a0choice\u00a0is rather limited he didn\u2019t\u00a0seem to mind. This same guy who\u00a0just told me that he was pro choice\u00a0now told me that he wanted to live under a system of government that\u00a0restricted his choices.. This is\u00a0what I mean when I say that liberals are irrational. They lack\u00a0even a modicum of\u00a0good judgment and common sense. They elevate tolerance above everything else, but they support\u00a0the most\u00a0intolerant forms of government.<\/p>\n
Tolerance without discretion is not a\u00a0virtue.\u00a0\u00a0Today I\u00a0have decided to stop\u00a0tolerating the progressives\u00a0who control\u00a0the Republican Party. They are cooperating with liberal Democrats to\u00a0fundamentally transform the United States of America.\u00a0I quit the GOP. I will not cooperate with\u00a0the progressive establishment that wants to destroy our constitutional republic. It doesn’t matter whether they are Republicans or Democrats. The Republicans want to transform our country\u00a0almost as fast as the Democrats do.\u00a0So I went down to\u00a0the county\u00a0elections office\u00a0and I switched my Party registration to\u00a0UN-AFFILIATED. I registered as \u201cnot a member of any political party\u201d. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n If a\u00a0real conservative\u00a0candidate emerges during this election and actually has a chance of winning the 2016 Republican Presidential Primary then I can\u00a0and will switch my\u00a0registration back to Republican\u00a0again just so I can vote in\u00a0my State\u00a0Primary, but until then I refuse to\u00a0let the GOP\u00a0count on my vote. I refuse to be taken for granted by them and I refuse to be a member of\u00a0a political Party\u00a0that\u00a0is\u00a0all talk and no action. I suggest you do the same.<\/p>\n Please remember that the most effective conservative President in the last one-hundred years couldn’t\u00a0reform the Republican Party by cooperating with it\u00a0and there is no one alive today that can do as good a job as Ronald Reagan did… Yet the Reagan Revolution ended the day that he left office. The very next day the Republican Party went back to its old tricks and it has been business as usual ever since then with the GOP firmly under the\u00a0control of the Rockefeller progressive within the Party. That is the wing of the Party that Mitch McConnell and John Boehner\u00a0belong to. That is why good conservatives like Senator Jim Demint and Congresswoman Michele Bachmann\u00a0 either resigned or refused to run for office again.<\/p>\n I won’t remain a Republican. I won’t let the Republican Party count on my vote anymore. As long as I was a Republican they took my vote for granted and they worried more about the votes of illegal aliens. That isn’t going to happen anymore.. So I\u00a0 quit the GOP and I suggest you do the same. I am not telling you how to vote, but\u00a0I am telling you not to let the GOP count on your vote. There is a difference.<\/p>\n It is said that one of the\u00a0definitions of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting to get different results. It is time to try something new. What we have been doing hasn’t been working very well. So if you want to restore your Republic and reform the Republican Party then you need to change your Party registration to un-affiliated. I have decided to stop being tolerant of progressives in the Republican Party who are cooperating with Democrats to fundamentally transform the United States of America. I am done with the GOP. I will not cooperate with the progressive establishment of the GOP who want to destroy our constitutional Republic so I went down to the county elections office and I switched my Party registration to un-AFFILIATED.
