The real reason that America is\u00a0interested in Ukraine has more to do with oil and natural gas <\/em><\/strong>than it\u00a0has to do with democracy!<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Russia isn’t the only country that is lying about its involvement in Ukraine. The United States is lying too, and so is the European Union. No one is telling\u00a0 the\u00a0truth about what is really going on\u00a0over there and why… but the one who lied the most to the American people was the Obama Administration.\u00a0Barack Obama \u00a0didn’t think that\u00a0Americans\u00a0deserved to know the truth about what his Administration was doing over there by supporting the coup which led to the overthrow of President Victor Yanukovich or\u00a0why Joe Biden was always\u00a0traveling there and holding high level meetings with\u00a0leaders of the American backed insurgency which ultimately became the government in Kiev… \u00a0To Barack Obama and Joe Biden you are just another “taxpaying unit”<\/em>\u00a0who doesn’t deserve to be heard from until and except on April 15th. The American flag is just something they wrap themselves up in whenever they want to\u00a0conceal the real intent of their actions\u00a0from\u00a0you…<\/p>\n

After the American backed insurgency was successful in ousting the legitimately elected government of Ukraine the Obama\u00a0Administration\u00a0then claimed that the referendum which occurred in Crimea and\u00a0the\u00a0counter revolution which resulted in eastern Ukraine\u00a0were not\u00a0home grown rebellions because\u00a0they\u00a0either were supported or\u00a0received aid and assistance from a foreign country namely Russia. The original revolution which was supported and received the aid and assistance of the United States of America, that was not tainted by foreign interference.\u00a0 If aid and assistance is\u00a0the measure by which you are to judge whether a revolution is homegrown or not, than by that standard our own American Revolution\u00a0of 1776\u00a0would not be\u00a0homegrown\u00a0rebellion because\u00a0it received aid and assistance\u00a0from France. The help that\u00a0America’s founding followers\u00a0received from a foreign country during our war for independence did not render\u00a0the\u00a0American Revolution any less homegrown or our motivations\u00a0any less sincere than those of\u00a0Ukrainians who demanded their\u00a0independence in Crimea or those still fighting for their freedom in Donetsk, Slovyansk, and Lugansk. President Obama\u2019s\u00a0words\u00a0were all the more hypocritical\u00a0when you realize that it\u00a0was his Administration that supplied the bombs that were dropped on those freedom fighters by the American backed authorities in Kiev.<\/p>\n

Viktor Yanukovych<\/p><\/div>\n

The United States has condemned Russia for\u00a0its support\u00a0of the referendum in Crimea and for its support of the rebels fighting in eastern Ukraine. It claims Russia has repeatedly violated Ukraine’s national sovereignty and its territorial integrity.<\/em> Perhaps\u00a0our\u00a0own government\u00a0should examine\u00a0its\u00a0role in supporting\u00a0the coup\u00a0which led to the\u00a0overthrow of\u00a0President Viktor Yanukovich.<\/p>\n

The Russians should just admit that they are providing military assistance to the rebels in Donetsk because the United States government supported an illegal coup and\u00a0along with the European Union it is now supporting\u00a0an illegal government in Kiev, but as I have\u00a0already noted…\u00a0everyone is\u00a0lying about what they are\u00a0doing\u00a0in Ukraine\u00a0especially our own government. The Russians are only there to counterbalance our own\u00a0involvement. What we are doing there is far more sinister because it is half way around the world. As it turns out our government is meddling over there\u00a0to\u00a0 provide new sources of revenue for American oil companies\u00a0 and so certain politicians can enrich themselves at the expense of Russian American relations.<\/p>\n

The real reason that the United States is\u00a0interested in Ukraine has nothing to do with democracy. It has more to do with the price of oil and natural gas than it has to do with anything else. There is nothing\u00a0principled or high minded about what we our doing in Ukraine, but\u00a0thanks to\u00a0a fracking revolution\u00a0in the oil industry the United States\u00a0is awash with more oil and natural gas than we know what to do with. As a result of this the\u00a0price of\u00a0oil and gas\u00a0was naturally going to\u00a0fall\u00a0unless new markets for our surpluses were found…\u00a0 That\u00a0explains why\u00a0there was such a frenzied\u00a0effort to\u00a0construct new liquefied natural gas\u00a0terminals\u00a0a few years back along our southern and western coasts\u00a0to export\u00a0these\u00a0surpluses abroad to Europe and beyond.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Meanwhile the United States was busy providing the political fuel to foment a revolution in\u00a0Ukraine simply\u00a0because\u00a0our energy companies\u00a0wanted to provide the fossil fuel to heat millions of European homes. It is a well known fact that\u00a0the Russian natural gas pipeline which\u00a0supplies Europe with most of its natural gas runs\u00a0right through Ukraine… So in\u00a0an effort\u00a0to supplant Russia as\u00a0the main\u00a0supplier of Europe’s natural gas our\u00a0own government\u00a0decided that political disturbances in Ukraine\u00a0were “necessary”, and that a return to the Cold War\u00a0with Russia was “acceptable.”<\/em>.\u00a0 Meanwhile in order to\u00a0fend off what they see as\u00a0American encroachments into their supply chain, Russia in conjunction with\u00a0its major importer of natural gas (Germany) is constructing a new pipeline which bypasses Ukraine altogether. It is\u00a0being laid under the Baltic Sea between St. Petersburg and Hamburg, and it is scheduled to be completed in\u00a0the Fall of\u00a02019. It\u00a0is called Nordstream 2<\/a>, \u00a0and it\u00a0is largely being financed by Germany.<\/p>\n

For the past eighty years America’s foreign policy has been dictated by a very small\u00a0clique of\u00a0corporate CEOs and executives who have wielded tremendous power and influence over our government through various think tanks and institutions like the\u00a0Council on Foreign Relations<\/a>.\u00a0You can hear the echoes of their\u00a0choices in the voices\u00a0of the\u00a0mainstream media\u00a0which is also very tightly controlled by a mere handful New York liberals who are all members of the Democratic Party. American politicians\u00a0talk about putting sanctions on\u00a0“Russian cronies in Vladimir Putin’s government”,\u00a0<\/em>while the\u00a0Council\u00a0on Foreign Relations has\u00a0provided nearly every U.S. Administration since Woodrow Wilson with its very own selected corporate cronies\u00a0who do its\u00a0bidding.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Council on Foreign Relations boasts such members as former President Jimmy Carter, former Secretary of State Zbigniew Brzezinski, former Vice President Dick Cheney, former Secretary of State James Baker, former Mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg,\u00a0 Senator Diane Feinstein, former Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, former Senator Bill Frist, General Alexander Haig, former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Alan Greenspan, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, Paul Wolfowitz, John Kerry, syndicated columnist Paul Krugman,\u00a0 P.B.S news anchor Jim Lehrer,\u00a0Fox News and Wall Street Journal owner\u00a0Rupert Murdoch, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell,\u00a0and virtually the entire Rockefeller Family\u00a0which has\u00a0played a\u00a0major role in starting, guiding,\u00a0and financing this organization from its very inception.<\/p>\n

Perhaps the American mainstream media should focus a little more on the cronies within our own government then on the cronies in the Russian government. They could\u00a0start\u00a0by examining\u00a0the role of the Council of Foreign Relations which has\u00a0placed its members in key, strategic positions in\u00a0every American administration since the end of World War I.
