November 2017<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n If there was a single Republican spokesman who could effectively articulate the conservative position on illegal immigration it\u00a0might do\u00a0a lot\u00a0to counter all of the negative\u00a0media stereotypes being generated by the mainstream press, but unfortunately there is not. The liberal media always\u00a0portrays conservatives who are tough on illegal immigration as totally insensitive, thoroughly unrealistic, completely impractical, fundamentally un-compassionate, basically cruel, and\u00a0absolutely heartless, however the opposite is\u00a0frequently true.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Republicans who are tough on the issue of illegal immigration\u00a0often care more about\u00a0illegal aliens\u00a0than their liberal Democrat counterparts do, and I\u00a0am going to\u00a0prove it… If\u00a0Democrats actually cared\u00a0about\u00a0the poor illegal aliens living in our country who are\u00a0caught between two worlds\u2026\u00a0 the country they love, and the one they are living in, then they would encourage all of them\u00a0to go back home and fix what is wrong with their country\u00a0which prevents them from finding\u00a0employment over\u00a0there. Their desire to\u00a0work\u00a0and provide for their families is what motivates most of them to come to the United States, millions of them every year. Politicians and the media should stop misrepresenting\u00a0migrant workers as immigrants. They should stop discussing this problem as if it is an \u00a0immigration problem. It is not an immigration problem.\u00a0\u00a0 The fact that Democrats don\u2019t want to help these migrant workers find\u00a0employment in their own country indicates that they have no real love or compassion for these people. They have no\u00a0abiding interest in improving their lives.. They just want to take advantage of them while they are here. They want to use them.\u00a0 One political Party wants to use them to lower the cost of wages in the workplace, and the other political Party wants to use them to raise the number of their politicians in elected office. The millions of migrant workers who come to the United States illegally every year are the unfortunate casualties of this\u00a0tragedy.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i><\/p>\n I have often\u00a0thought that if just one man\u2026\u00a0 a Mexican\u00a0 billionaire named Carlos Slim who is reputed to be one of the richest men in the world, would open up his pockets\u00a0a little bit more and invest in his own country instead of putting all of his pesos in other countries, then Mexican citizens\u00a0would probably be able to find work in their own country and we wouldn\u2019t have such an illegal alien problem in the United States.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0Since there aren\u2019t many well-known Republicans who are either brave enough or willing to tackle the subject of illegal immigration it remains to be done. The first incorrect assumption that the GOP always makes is that Republicans have to win over a growing number of illegal aliens in our country in order to remain a viable political Party. That is simply not<\/span> true.\u00a0 <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Just before every election you always hear in the liberal media just how important the Hispanic voting bloc is. Republicans are constantly being told that we can\u2019t win without them… \u00a0that their numbers are rapidly growing, and that we need to make some kind of concessions on the subject of illegal immigration in order to put Republicans in office.\u00a0 Apparently\u00a0many Republicans have fallen victim to\u00a0this spin.\u00a0 It isn’t true.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n All the Republican Party has to do in order to win is to listen to its own members. All it has to do to put\u00a0Republicans in office is\u00a0hold on to two key States\u2026 Texas and Florida which are both\u00a0very illegal alien friendly right now, and rapidly\u00a0moving \u00a0farther and farther\u00a0to the left\u00a0every year with each new illegal alien that comes there. The way to stop this and hang on to these two key States is to stop making them so welcoming to\u00a0illegal aliens.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i><\/p>\n It isn\u2019t necessary to\u00a0round up\u00a0all the illegal aliens in our country and ship them back to Mexico or Central America,.\u00a0It is only necessary to persuade the majority of them to move to\u00a0a Blue\u00a0State.\u00a0\u00a0 Just make sure that the laws in Texas and Florida are\u00a0a little less friendly to illegal aliens than the laws of\u00a0Massachusetts or Illinois. If the laws of Texas and Florida were tougher on illegal immigrants then more of them wouldn\u2019t stay there. They would move to another State\u2026\u00a0probably a Blue State where their illegal votes wouldn\u2019t change the results of our elections.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Texas and Florida are both magnets for illegal immigration. With their in-State college tuition benefits for undocumented\u00a0workers\u00a0and their welcoming attitude towards all who come, they are actually attracting illegal aliens\u00a0like\u00a0a\u00a0magnet. It is generally assumed that the legal Hispanic community supports this illegal invasion of our country, but that is\u00a0just not true. The\u00a0Hispanic community like any other ethnic community is diverse. It does not speak with one voice. Within the Hispanic community there are a wide variety of different opinions on the subject of illegal immigration.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
\n They come\u00a0to “El Norte” <\/em>\u00a0in search of\u00a0employment. They are not immigrants. They are migrant workers looking for\u00a0jobs. That is a\u00a0huge difference.\u00a0\u00a0Most of them have no intentions of remaining here forever.. They are not coming here in search of a new life in a new country.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
