The problem in America isn’t guns. The problem is the lack of morals in our country.\u00a0 The problem is the destructive influence of Hollywood in our lives. The problem is the relative absence of\u00a0effective parenting skills and good role models for our children. The problem in America is broken families, and open borders, and a lack of mental health services\u00a0with\u00a0appropriate\u00a0intervention when it becomes\u00a0necessary.<\/span>\u00a0The problem is video games and music that\u00a0glorify violence and disrespect human life.\u00a0The\u00a0problem is that too many Americans don’t read the Bible anymore… or believe in God anymore… or know right from wrong anymore. The cause of\u00a0the\u00a0gun violence in America is the same\u00a0as the cause of all the other forms of violent behavior in America. You don’t solve this problem by\u00a0making it harder for honest, law abiding citizens to\u00a0own firearms.. You solve the problem by\u00a0dealing\u00a0with\u00a0the root cause of all the violence.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Why do Democrats\u00a0always focus on gun violence at the expense of other forms of violent\u00a0human behavior? Why do they focus on\u00a0just one manifestation of\u00a0a much bigger \u00a0social\u00a0problem? What about all the other forms of violent behavior that American’s experience in their lives, especially the brutal violence committed against\u00a0America’s unwanted babies when\u00a0reluctant mothers decide to\u00a0terminate their pregnancies? <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n The number one, most unsafe place to be in America\u00a0today is not in\u00a0a public school classroom or in one of America’s inner cities… It is in the womb!\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Why\u00a0don’t\u00a0liberals\u00a0want to talk about preventing\u00a0the murder of innocent, little unborn\u00a0babies in the womb? They are always limiting the discussion on violence to\u00a0only one specific type of violence. That is violence\u00a0committed with handguns, and\u00a0they are always in a big hurry to take away <\/span><\/em>our guns. <\/span><\/em>Why aren’t\u00a0liberals just as concerned about preventing all the other forms of violent behavior which are just as detrimental\u00a0to our society as\u00a0violence committed with handguns?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n There was a\u00a0tragic mass shooting incident\u00a0at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon.\u00a0\u00a0 Almost immediately President Obama was taking up the cause of gun control once again.\u00a0 It’s just the most recent\u00a0example of\u00a0the Obama Administration\u00a0pushing for\u00a0tougher gun control laws. The Democrats, the liberal media, and President Obama\u00a0are\u00a0all beating the gun control drum\u00a0again and trying to make it harder for Americans to own guns.\u00a0Guns are not the reason that Americans commit violence.\u00a0They are only the means by which some violent people commit their dastardly deed.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Liberals don’t understand\u00a0that the root cause of violence isn’t the guns. It is a lack of morals,\u00a0but because\u00a0liberals don’t usually\u00a0have any\u00a0they usually focus on the implements with which\u00a0the violence is committed rather than the cause.\u00a0The recent mass murders\u00a0committed on the campus of Umpqua Community College were committed by\u00a0a mentally ill twenty six year old man who was the product of a broken home. The\u00a0emotionally\u00a0troubled\u00a0killer was born overseas\u00a0to immigrants\u00a0and came\u00a0here with his parents when he\u00a0 was very young.\u00a0His mother and father separated shortly after he was born in 1989 and\u00a0they were later divorced.\u00a0The troubled teen ager grew up in a broken home. He never had access to adequate mental health services when he was growing up, but since <\/span><\/span><\/span>Democrats\u00a0never let a good crisis go to waste… and they never\u00a0pass up\u00a0an opportunity to beat\u00a0the drum\u00a0for gun control they are seizing this tragic incident to push for tougher gun laws again. They are always\u00a0trying to\u00a0drum into our heads the\u00a0foolish\u00a0idea\u00a0that guns\u00a0cause violence when they don’t. People cause violence…\u00a0disturbed people with animosity in their hearts who have somehow managed to escape detection through\u00a0appropriate mental health screening processes. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Why don\u2019t Democrats talk about preventing\u00a0other forms of violence in America starting with the murder of innocent, little unborn babies\u00a0in their mother’s\u00a0womb?\u00a0 We all know the answer to that question. It\u2019s\u00a0 obvious.<\/span><\/span><\/span> If Democrats talked about preventing\u00a0other forms of violence then they wouldn\u2019t be able to make a\u00a0distinct\u00a0case for\u00a0imposing\u00a0stricter gun laws. If they\u00a0ever talked about the root causes of\u00a0all the violence in America\u00a0they wouldn’t be able to make\u00a0a convincing case for\u00a0imposing tougher\u00a0gun laws on Americans and more restrictions\u00a0on\u00a0our Second Amendment. Democrats don’t\u00a0refer to abortion as if it is a\u00a0violent act because\u00a0in a liberal’s twisted\u00a0thinking a mother\u00a0should be able\u00a0to decide whether her child lives or dies even when the baby is in the third trimester of life. If a woman doesn’t want to carry her baby to term\u00a0then\u00a0an abortion doctor can\u00a0simply coax\u00a0the little boy or girl\u00a0to\u00a0close its little eyes and\u00a0fall asleep forever.\u00a0That’s what Democrats\u00a0would like you to believe, but the\u00a0truth is that these\u00a0helpless unborn babies have their little skulls\u00a0crushed while they are in their mothers tummy. Its no different than taking a hammer and beating them over the head. \u00a0Democrats only want to talk about\u00a0violence\u00a0committed with handguns not the violence perpetrated on\u00a0America’s\u00a0unwanted\u00a0little babies\u00a0at government funded Planned Parenthood Center all across America. Guns aren’t the cause of violence in America.\u00a0A lack of morals\u00a0is the problem in America. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n The\u00a0most unsafe place for little children\u00a0to be\u00a0is\u00a0right inside their mother’s\u00a0womb where the law doesn’t\u00a0protect them. Unwanted babies in their second and third trimester of life\u00a0deserve a chance\u00a0even if the egg donor doesn’t want to be a mother..\u00a0We don’t need more laws to protect\u00a0Americans from guns…\u00a0 We need moral laws to\u00a0protect\u00a0Americans from lawyers with doctor’s degrees and from doctors\u00a0without moral\u00a0 degrees who use their scalpels and forceps to end human life\u00a0instead of preserving\u00a0human life.\u00a0 We need\u00a0laws to protect a baby’s right to be born, and\u00a0we need more laws to protect Americans from\u00a0mentally ill sociopaths who would kill us. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n What America needs is a greater respect for God’s moral and behavioral laws.\u00a0If anything needs to be strengthened in America it is our moral\u00a0and behavioral\u00a0backbone.<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n For the sake of argument let\u2019s assume that\u00a0the Democrats get what they want <\/span><\/span><\/span>and they\u00a0are successful in taking away or at least severely restrict our Second Amendment Right to bear arms. Let’s\u00a0suppose that they somehow manage to confiscate all the firearms in America so that no would be assailant, either\u00a0domestic or foreign has any legal access to a gun.\u00a0A determined perpetrator would simply find a way to purchase a gun illegally or they would find some other weapon to commit their\u00a0despicable act of violence with.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0Are hammers and screwdrivers going to be the next item on the Democrat’s ban list?\u00a0I hope you don’t think I\u00a0am kidding. I am not… Box blades and Stanley knives\u00a0have been banned on airplanes since 9\/11. What’s next?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n How\u00a0about\u00a0 scissors?\u00a0A sharp cutting instrument just like a box blade or a scalpel can cut paper\u00a0and hair, but they can also be used to accidentally cut your fingers or deliberately stab someone in the chest. Are the “Dummycrats” going to\u00a0go after\u00a0your scissors next? Can you\u00a0imagine a world without knives or scissors,\u00a0without hammers\u00a0and screwdrivers?\u00a0\u00a0Are\u00a0Democrats\u00a0going to confiscate every potentially dangerous instrument in the kitchen cabinet? Are they going to begin a national conversation about\u00a0violence committed with scissors the\u00a0next time that a pair of scissors is used to cause bodily harm?\u00a0The question begs to be answered. What about<\/span> all of the violence committed in America\u00a0with scalpels that\u00a0occurs at Planned Parenthood Centers?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Democrats seem to think\u00a0it is their job to protect us from ourselves, but they don’t want to\u00a0extend\u00a0that protection to unborn\u00a0 babies in the womb. Maybe they will allow\u00a0adults to possess a pair of blunt nosed scissors… the kind that little children\u00a0play with in kindergarten if\u00a0they\u00a0are lucky enough\u00a0to escape the womb and the abortion doctor’s\u00a0knife,\u00a0and if<\/span>\u00a0they grow up to\u00a0enjoy the full protection of the law. Maybe if\u00a0they pass\u00a0extensive background checks then they can have one pair of blunt nose scissors, but wasn\u2019t the worst terrorist attack in American history committed with a\u00a0little box\u00a0blade that passed\u00a0through airport security?\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n All the violence in the world comes from a tiny, little place\u00a0not bigger than\u00a0the size of\u00a0 your fist.\u00a0It is that place that is the problem. That little place\u00a0is the human heart.\u00a0 So what are the Democrats going to do about the heart of human beings? The Bible says that the\u00a0heart is desperately wicked.\u00a0Are they going ban\u00a0hearts and require extensive background checks before you are allowed to keep yours?\u00a0 What about brains.. Do\u00a0liberals\u00a0have any? For those of us\u00a0who actually do\u2026\u00a0brains don\u2019t come with an operator’s manual that tells you how to use them. Are the Democrats going to require\u00a0us to take a proficiency test before they allow us to think?\u00a0 Are they\u00a0 going to require\u00a0people to\u00a0pass a politically correct\u00a0litmus test before\u00a0allowing them\u00a0to vote or\u00a0to avoid being treated with mind altering psycho-therapeutic drugs?\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Do you remember Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold? They were the two young\u00a0liberal killers at Columbine High School. Do you remember\u00a0Jared Loughner? He was the one who shot Gabrielle Giffords and eighteen others and murdered six people at\u00a0a local shopping center in\u00a0Tucson Arizona.\u00a0Do you remember\u00a0James Holmes? He\u00a0opened fire\u00a0in a dark movie\u00a0 theatre\u00a0in Aurora Colorado randomly killing twelve people and injuring seventy others.\u00a0Finally there was young Adam Lanza who\u00a0killed\u00a0twenty students and six adults at the Sandy Hook elementary school in Sandy Hook Connecticut. None of these murders were by committed by young Christian conservatives who were following the teaching of Jesus.\u00a0The perpetrators were\u00a0not Church goers or members of a Synagogue..\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0These killers were influenced by a pervasive culture of\u00a0liberalism and secualar humanism. All of these young killers\u00a0were either atheists or young secular liberals, who\u00a0are the products of\u00a0our rapidly decaying society.\u00a0Perhaps mandatory lobotomies for all young Democrats would eliminate most of the gun violence\u00a0in America,\u00a0while at the same time\u00a0providing\u00a0a conclusive\u00a0fix for\u00a0anything else ails our country. Perhaps we should ban the teaching of Marxism, Communism, and secular humanism\u00a0from\u00a0public\u00a0schools and universities in America.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n The first recorded murder in history was probably committed\u00a0with someone’s bare hands. We could always\u00a0cut off a person’s hands\u00a0just like the Iranians do.\u00a0 That would quickly put an end to\u00a0all violence in America not just that committed with guns… We could\u00a0start lopping off hands whenever people use them in the wrong way\u2026<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Progressive ideology really offers no cures for what is\u00a0wrong with our country\u00a0and our people. It only leads to more problems, and bigger problems that\u00a0eventually need to be fixed. We don\u2019t need to ban assault weapons or place tighter restrictions on gun control. It will not do one thing to stop the violence in America. All violence comes from a place no bigger than your clenched fist.\u00a0Perhaps more Americans should start reading the Bible again. Perhaps we should ban Democrats from assailing our Constitution\u00a0each time a mass murder occurs or thinking that they are a lot smarter than God\u00a0and wiser than our Founding Fathers!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Maybe we could\u00a0agree to have extensive background checks performed on all liberals before we\u00a0let them\u00a0have any children, or at least require them to complete a parental proficiency course before they become parents.
