N.P.R.\u2019s Marxist Talking Pin Heads<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n Inauguration Day 2013<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n By Scott Rohter, January 2013<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Do you know how devious Democrats\u00a0can be? Well\u00a0the other day on National Public Radio I was listening to someone substituting for their regular weekend host Scott Simon. He is certainly bad enough, but this woman who was covering for him on\u00a0Saturday morning was talking about how Barack Obama will be taking the oath of office on the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The subject dejour this Saturday morning was about… you guessed it, race again!\u00a0 Oy vey, what a coincidence.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Of course we know that\u00a0liberals are going to keep talking about race and racial relations, and they will keep playing the race card as long as this Marxist ideologue is in the White House! It shifts the focus of attention away from what he is actually doing. They will try to divert America\u2019s attention away from\u00a0Barack Obama’s\u00a0policies and redirect the focus of our attention\u00a0to rather ridiculous distractions like the color of his skin. I really couldn\u2019t care less what the color of his skin is. My answer to them is this: I have looked at the color of his skin\u2026 and it isn\u2019t exactly black either!\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n It certainly isn\u2019t as black as the color of Thurgood Marshall\u2019s skin was, or Clarence Thomas\u2019 skin, or Thomas Sowell\u2019s skin, or Congressman Alan West\u2019s skin, or former Congressman J.C. Watts skin, but who cares? Who is even paying attention to the color of anybody\u2019s skin anymore except the liberals in the mainstream media? But okay now that they made me look, here is what I have to say to them. \u201cEven if his skin was black (and it really isn\u2019t so stop trying to take credit for it all of the time) it would not make one iota of a difference to me as long as the color of his political ideology wasn\u2019t Russian Red\u201d!<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Do you know how much nerve these little socialists at N.P.R. have? Well, they began this Saturday morning by interviewing the author of a brand new book. The name of the book is The King Years: Historic Moments in the Civil Rights Movement<\/span>, and the author\u2019s name is\u2026 well who cares what the author\u2019s name is anyway? I certainly dont!!! Oh all right I will tell you\u00a0what his name is, but only because it might help\u00a0this article\u00a0rank higher in the Google ratings. The name of the man who wrote the book is Taylor Branch. So there I told you!\u00a0Then the\u00a0progressive author of this book\u00a0together with\u00a0the socialist host of N.P.R.’s Weekend\u00a0Edition\u00a0proceeded to site George Wallace, the former governor of Alabama as the originator of all of the current anti-tax and spend rhetoric that is percolating in America today, as well as the ideological inspiration for much of America’s growing opposition to\u00a0a strong federal government.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n I couldn\u2019t believe my ears. I got so mad I wanted to put my fist right through the radio! They cited the former racist governor of Alabama as the father of today\u2019s modern anti-tax movement, (Can you believe that?)\u00a0and the fountain head from which springs\u00a0forth America’s growing opposition to the\u00a0increasing size of our federal government. Nevermind the fact that George Wallace was a Democrat which fact they conveniently failed to mention. They were far more concerned about linking his anti-tax and anti-spend policies, and his opposition to\u00a0big\u00a0government to his racist past,\u00a0rather than to his Democratic Party affiliation. But George Wallace was neither the inspiration for, nor the originator of today\u2019s modern anti-tax movement. And he is certainly not the first American to ever be concerned about the growing power of the\u00a0federal government in Washington. Sorry, but\u00a0their assumptions about just who or what is motivating Americans today\u00a0is not even remotely close to being true!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Every single one of America\u2019s founding fathers had a more conservative governing philosophy with respect to controlling the power of the federal government than George Wallace did. Even Alexander Hamilton was more conservative than George Wallace when it came to granting Washington more power! The only reason that N.P.R. even mentioned George Wallace\u2019s name was because he was a supporter of segregation \u2026\u00a0 and they never even bothered to mention the fact that he was\u00a0also one of their own, a Democrat racist just like Strom Thurmond!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n All of our founding fathers shared the\u00a0same idea that taxes to the Federal Government were supposed to be paid by the States, and not by individual Americans. And the type of central government that they envisioned was one that was much smaller, and not nearly so powerful as the current federal government that we have in Washington today.<\/strong><\/em> What the hell was this author and the N.P.R. radio talk show host even talking about?\u00a0I wonder if\u00a0they even know what they were talking about.
