Putting America First<\/strong><\/h1>\n

America has experienced a lot of firsts lately\u2026 We have elected our first Black President. We have\u00a0our first female Speaker of the House. We have chosen the first non-politician in our Nation\u2019s history, the first non-Deep State actor to be our country\u2019s leader, and now we have\u00a0the first impeachment of a President for non-high crimes and misdemeanors. About the only thing we have not seen much of\u00a0in Washington\u00a0lately is Democrat politicians putting\u00a0their country\u00a0first over their own\u00a0personal political interests. Isn\u2019t it about time for these disgruntled liberals to start putting\u00a0America first\u00a0or\u00a0is that just\u00a0too much to\u00a0expect ?<\/p>\n

The supposedly \u201cloyal opposition\u201d in Congress has just finished drafting their articles of impeachment,\u00a0and now they will forward them to the full House for a vote\u00a0before Christmas\u2026\u00a0 I guess that\u00a0will be\u00a0their Christmas present to the Nation\u2026 to further divide\u00a0us along partisan political lines..\u00a0\u00a0Merry Christmas everybody. The grounds for impeaching the President are two: abuse of power, and obstruction of Congress. Excuse me, but \u00a0I thought that Congress was the one doing all of the obstructing.\u00a0\u00a0What have they actually done in the last three years except publically and continually whine over their loss in 2016 and spend all the rest of their time, every waking moment trying to remove Donald Trump\u00a0from office?<\/p>\n

As far as\u00a0abuse of power goes just what exactly does that mean? Are they referring to the President\u2019s decision to exercise his executive privilege not to testify before their so called select committee, or is this\u00a0rather a veiled reference to their own political abuse of power when they decided to kick start the\u00a0whole impeachment process by holding secret hearings in a secure location where the President\u2019s attorneys and\u00a0his supporters in Congress were not even allowed to go?<\/p>\n

\u00a0Don\u2019t forget that even later after they opened the impeachment inquiry to the public, the President\u2019s supporters in Congress were still no allowed to call certain witnesses, only those who were\u00a0approved by Adam Shiff, and their questions were\u00a0routinely blocked by the committee chairman.<\/p>\n

By the way it is one of the President\u2019s official responsibilities as President to investigate corruption. It is not an abuse of power. It is his job, and Joe Biden is not above the law just because he decided to run for office.<\/p>\n

So here we are in\u00a0December and Democrats in Congress have just wrapped up their investigation of Donald Trump. They\u00a0put it under the\u00a0Christmas tree for\u00a0the\u00a0 country\u00a0to open up next year.. They spent a mere forty or fifty million dollars on\u00a0their gift, of our own money of, so I guess we are supposed to be grateful. Well I for one am not.<\/p>\n
