Dateline:<\/strong> Las Vegas, Nevada… The home of gambling and prostitution… sometimes jokingly referred to as “Sin City”. This is the place where a team of United States Attorneys working for the Department of Justice are endeavoring once again to convict four God fearing, law abiding, Christian men of a myriad of serious crimes, all of them felonies, not the least of which is a criminal charge of conspiracy against the United States.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Cliven Bundy, Ammon Bundy, Ryan Bundy, and Ryan Payne have all spent most of the last two years in jail.\u00a0They are the real victims of\u00a0this conspiracy\u2026 a government conspiracy directed\u00a0at them and\u00a0their way of life. They are the actual victims of a government vendetta which was\u00a0begun by Attorneys General Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch\u00a0during the Obama Administration and\u00a0which is now being\u00a0carried out\u00a0by Jeff Sessions in the Trump Administration. While the Bundys are the ones with\u00a0the bull’s eye on their backs… in a\u00a0broader sense\u00a0this prosecution\u00a0is targeting all ranchers\u00a0in western States.<\/p>\n Inside the Federal Courthouse\u00a0every aspect of this trial is\u00a0being very tightly controlled from the shackles on\u00a0the defendants’ feet to reports of the proceedings\u00a0emanating from within\u00a0those walls…\u00a0and just like the events in that courthouse almost everything else that anyone does in the State of Nevada is also tightly regulated by the\u00a0United States government. That is because\u00a0ninety percent of the land in the State of Nevada is in fact just like that courthouse.. It is owned and\u00a0administered\u00a0by the federal government. Here are a few other facts that you may not know about this trial…<\/p>\n All of these defendants have been denied bail They have spent most of the last two years in jail.\u00a0Two of them have been beaten nearly to death and placed in solitary confinement for extended periods of time.\u00a0 Three<\/strong> of them have been prosecuted twice, once in Oregon and once in Nevada.\u00a0Two<\/strong> of them have faced a jury of their peers twice.\u00a0\u00a0While they have been languishing in prison waiting for their day in court… the government has\u00a0produced numerous other indictments accusing their\u00a0supporters and defenders with\u00a0various other\u00a0crimes. These indictments have\u00a0resulted in two hung juries and two mistrials being declared.\u00a0Altogether there have been four<\/strong> trials so far and this one is the fifth .\u00a0 <\/strong>Hopefully it is the last.<\/p>\n That brings\u00a0me to the question of why the Bundys are\u00a0really being prosecuted in the first place. The government claims it is because Cliven Bundy refused to pay\u00a0the grazing fees for his cattle over a period of time so in 2014 the BLM tried to impound\u00a0his cattle in order to collect the money he owed them. This provoked the infamous standoff in Bunkerville where hundreds of Americans from all around the country rallied to his support..\u00a0 The government’s narrative is\u00a0completely implausible as the exact same government\u00a0 which thinks nothing at all about being over 20 trillion dollars in debt and prints money like it is going out of style now is desperate for Cliven Bundy’s grazing fees… The truth of the matter is that the Bundys are really being prosecuted because they have challenged the legitimacy of the government’s unconstitutional occupation of over 700 million acres of land in twelve western states since California became a State in 1850. The ongoing occupation of this land violates the Equal Footing Principle of the Constitution by which\u00a0all new States are supposed to be admitted to the Union on the same basis as all\u00a0of the\u00a0other States.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n There is no State prior to the admission of California in 1850 in which the Federal government owns more than a few thousand acres of land on which the Constitution\u00a0says it\u00a0can build \u201cforts, and ports, and other needful buildings\u201d. \u00a0In today\u2019s parlance that consists of\u00a0military bases, naval installations, ports, dockyards, and other\u00a0government facilities like post offices and Federal Courthouses like the one in which this trial is being held.<\/p>\n There is nothing in the United States Constitution that gives Congress or the President the power to create Federal Monuments or National Parks, or a bird sanctuary in the State of Oregon. That is why the government is going after the Bundy family with such a vengeance\u2026 They have called for an end to this unconstitutional occupation\u00a0of land in America\u2019s twelve western States. The amount of land\u00a0that\u00a0Congress controls is staggering. It is 25% of all the land in the\u00a0country. That is more than the size of most other countries..
