Unfit to Lead? - Are They Making New Qualifications to Be President?

EXTRA, EXTRA, READ ALL ABOUT IT!  Michele Bachmann has migraine headaches!  Can it be that she is unfit to lead, unfit to be our President and Commander in Chief?  That’s the so-called news you get from the mainstream media these days.  At least that’s what ABC reported in a story this week, that Michele Bachmann suffers from migraine headaches, and she keeps them under control with the use of prescription medication.  So what, you ask?  That’s just what I think!  But from a liberal’s perspective it’s a real smoking gun! To them it might be her Achilles Heel. It actually is news if you are hoping to derail her Presidential campaign or hurt her chances to win the Republican nomination. Apparently that's why Tim Pawlenty jumped all over it! 

Am I supposed to believe that just because Michele Bachmann suffers from occasional migraine headaches, that she can’t stand up to the rigors of the WhiteHouse, or that she is somehow unfit to be our President and Commander in Chief?  I know that is why ABC published the story, and why every other ‘left leaning mouthpiece’ in the country republished it over and over again!  Well by that same logic, John F. Kennedy who suffered from severe, debilitating back pain, that was so bad that he had to keep it under control with the use of narcotic drugs, was also unfit to be our President!  I’ll bet that ABC, NBC, and CBS did not see fit to print that little story any time during his Presidential campaign!  So was John F. Kennedy also unfit to lead?

What about the great Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who is nearly immortalized now by every living Democrat?  He suffered from crippling polio, and he couldn’t even stand up, more less walk during his Presidency, yet he stood up to the rigors of the WhiteHouse.  He even needed someone to push his wheelchair around!  Needless to say, he got tired very easily too!  But that didn’t stop him from serving four terms as our President and Commander in Chief, and leading our country through some of the most difficult times in our Nation’s history: the Depression, and World War II.  And it didn’t stop the media from diverting attention away from his debilitating illness, instead of focusing on it!  That didn’t stop all of the television camera crews from pointing the lens away from the President, whenever FDR was moving from point A to point B!  So is there a double standard at work in the media today when it comes to Michele Bachmann?  Is it because she is a woman, or is it because she is a conservative and a Republican, or is it worse for her, because she is all three?

Apparently, migraine headaches have now become the 'new criteria' for being qualified to be President, although merely not being a natural born citizen of the United States, which actually is a Constitutional requirement, is just waived for Barack Obama!  I don’t think that migraine headaches render Michele Bachmann either unfit or unqualified to be our 47th President, but it sure does illustrate how desperate the 'Puppet Media' actually is, and how nervous they are about her winning the GOP nomination!
