Who is Using Chemical Weapons in Syria and Why

Posted by Scott Rohter on Saturday, April 8, 2017

We are told to believe that Bashar al Assad is using chemical weapons against his own people. There is something obviously wrong about that statement. The government of Syria is more than just one man. It is more than just Bashar al Assad. Why is our government and the American media making this an attack against one man. Why are we making it about one man when we are really being asked to believe that the government of Syria is using chemical weapons against its own people? …

Fifty American Soldiers on the Ground in Syria are just Being Used as a Bargaining Chip with the Russians – America’s Disastrous Foreign Policy in the Middle East under Barack Obama

Any Congressional vote on the authorization to use force in Syria is really a vote on the legitimacy of our own elected government in Washington. It is a crucial test on whether our elected government still actually represents us or not. It seems like the Middle East is slowly bleeding to death, and it literally is. Nothing and no one is able to stop all of this bloodletting or staunch the flow of red blood corpuscles, and no one from the West should even bother to try. The inherent hostility that exists between different sects of Muslims predates all of the current conflicts and goes all the way back to the actual founding of their religion when one group of followers of the prophet Mohoammed cut off the head of his only male heir, his nephew Ali. That single act launched Islam on its eternally bloody path…

Red Line in the Sand in Syria – President Obama’s Folly

Posted by Scott Rohter on Sunday, May 12, 2013

Several months ago President Obama unwittingly extended an open invitation to America’s enemies to drag us into another no win war in the Middle East. It wasn’t bad enough that we got sucked into three wars in Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan from which we are still trying to extricate ourselves, but now by issuing an ultimatum not to use chemical weapons to the combatants in Syria, President Obama has created the conditions by which we can be pulled into yet another one of their endless military conflicts.
